About a month ago Jorge went to test drive a car with a coworker and they gave them BassPro Shop Gift cards. He then took the kids to pick out something with the $. As we are not avid hunters or fishers and as Adreana put it "It is not a shop for girls", we had a hard time finding something that we wanted. But then Jorge happened upon these cute kid fishing poles, a Barbie one for chiquitina and a Scooby Doo one for Benjamin. Now the kids love to use them with the practice cast on but Adreana is getting way too good so yesterday she had to move outside.
Now about the BassPro Shops... although Adreana thought they were quite boring, Benjamin thought it was the funnest place ever. We had to drag him out quite literally because he loved all of it. He loved the guns, the fishing poles, those things hunters hide in, the boats... What a great place for an energetic little boy to go too.
