This year Benjamin played T-ball! He loved it. I wasn't so sure since there are many wait times in the game but he did great. He was ready to go as soon as he heard Baseball. He never admitted he played T-ball, according to him he played baseball. It was fun to watch him play a sport. He really got the hang of hitting the ball this season. We are still working on catching.

A funny story about his last game. In T-ball 3&4s they run the ball to the base. They don't throw. The parents also "play" in the field with them (I think it is to make sure no one gets bonked on the head). Anyway at his last game on Monday I was out in the pitcher's mound with him for the last inning (they play up to 50 minutes and then the game is called, so usually 3 innings - the inning has a maximum of 7 runs), by the last inning my son has lost most of his concentration and interest but he really wanted to be at the pitcher's mound because most of the balls come there. Anyway he had missed a couple, grabbed one and run to first but now the bases are full and I say "Benjamin with the next one, you have to go to home." He turns to me and says "Really mama! We get to go home!". I guess we need to teach him more than just catching.
He did get the next ball and he did run towards home base but instead of touching it and getting the runner out he stood next to it and had a good talk with the umpire. Everyone from both teams were laughing. He redeemed himself by touching the base and getting an out. Lots of fun!
