Tornadoes here

I know lots of you must have heard that we got some tornadoes in the area. They were close but God was merciful and we are fine. We did have to go into shelter (closet) during the storm last night so the kids are extremely grumpy today. I can hear one cry as I type. But nevertheless we are safe.

The tornadoes hit about a mile or two away from us on two sides. A little closer that I would have liked but a great reminder of a covenant God that is protecting us. Please pray for those whose houses were damaged because of this.

Where did March go?

Well it has been a while since I posted and my mom has been asking what's up. Good thing I call and let her know :)! Anyway I don't know where March went. All of a sudden we were extremely busy with life and I never got around to posting.

We had an Easter Egg hunting, picture taking, car not starting, movie watching, outside playing, baseball going and soccer playing grand month. I will have to give you more details about our March in another post but just wanted to drop by and say hi! In the meantime so you have an idea of our March here are some pictures:

Well I have been busy doing layouts... I know I should have been busy cleaning house but that isn't quite as fun!

Marleny and Joshua. I don't she even has seen this pick.... cause it was a throw away but with some tips on making dramatic photos and lots of ime I think it looks decent. The crackle on it is an overlay... pretty cool huh!
And a really old one - 2002! I have been missing the kids that aren't kids anymore. So I decided to scrap a picture I should have scrapped a LONG TIME ago. Anyway I am hoping to make this the title page and finish of with layouts from the trip... we shall see.. You should see my big file of works in progress.

what a day

Well I have spent most of my day trying to stay awake editing pictures. Unfortunately as usually ends up happening when I am online I ended up spending WAY too much time at DSP and chatting with friends on Messenger. Oh well...

But my day was pretty good... What was not so good being woken up at 4am by my daughter throwing up. She doesn't seem sick or act sick or have a fever and her apetite is ok so I am thinking it was just an upset stomach. But not that best way to get up in the morning. To make matters worse I had had insomnia last night so hadn't gotten to bed till late. So we slept in this morning and didn't go to Bible Study (wasn't sure what Adreana had so decided to stay home with her).

Anyway Yesterday I took pics of the kids and played with the camera (will post those pictures at another time) but here are my layouts:

Easter Photo Day - 2

I have had trouble uploading these pics, so please read as if you were reading Saturday! :) haha

Well another day gone by. Not as good as yesterday because my kids made a mess of my clean house... and I had to spend lots of my time processing photos and Jorge isn't feeling well, but God is still good and the day had its very good points.

I love taking pictures so when I get to do it I have a good day. Also I had some of my neighbors that were young adults and their sister come and take pics. That is always fun. Lots easier when they know what they are doing than with 2 yr olds. Anyway here are some pics and a layout... cause that is why I am up late!

Easter Photo Day 1

Just thought I would post some pics of today. I only had two families come (3 kids) but that was enough. It has been a good day, blessed by God. My house is clean. Dinner is done. Katherine's marrow is clear (http://allingodshands.blogspot.com/)! Praise the Lord cause he is good! Tomorrow is a new day and I am sure I will have as much fun as today.
