As promised I am back to tell you about our life... It has been a busy life. A week ago Friday we went to stillwater on an improv trip (Jorge's favorite) to go to eat at Eskimo Joe's. (Did you know that their T-shirt is the second most collected in the world? First is Hard Rock Cafe's) Back to my story it would have been a great Friday get away except that on the way out I grabbed the jackets, the cups (Jorge HAD to bring them home for Angie and Mark) and forgot my purse. Didn't realize it until 10pm when we finally pulled into our driveway. So after calling the restaurant and making sure it was there we went to bed only to wake up early to drive back (a little over an hour) to pick it up. Jorge was not thrilled but knew I felt bad so he was actually very nice about it. He decided to make a trip out of it and after picking it up we went to see OSU and let the kids play in a real nice park around the area. In the afternoon Saturday we went to church because Jorge had to work the cameras.
Sunday we went back to church because Jorge had the cameras and I had to teach Adreana's Sunday School class. Upon arrival and after lunch. We all took a nap because we needed it. Then we went to Arcadia Park for their Story Book Forest trick or treating. The kids got in their costumes and we had a blast! The smoke and the trees didn't do too much for our allergies but it was fun.
Monday we got up and got ready for Bible Study. We ate lunch at the church because I didn't have much time before we had to drive to our church for the preschool fall play date. That is what they call their fall activity for preschoolers which involve crafts, snack, inflatables and a pumpkin. We drove straight from there to swim class where Adreana surprised us all by jumping all by herself into the pool. She didn't take in water for the first time. I was so proud. That would seem like it was a full day but at night I still went to my mentoring study. Busy day.
Monday night was one of the worst nights of my life. I couldn't sleep from my allergies. I realized I forgot to take them on Sunday and Monday morning and with all the running around I did I felt awfull. Slept about an hour. Jorge didn't get much sleep either :)! Thankfully Tuesday is a MDO day so I took the kids to school and then came home and edited pictures and vegged until 1:30 becuase it was party day at MDO and I had promised the kids I'd go. I went to Benjamin's class first and he was doing so nicely. He was sitting like a big boy and when a kid tried to take something away from him there was no yelling or pushing, he simply moved his plate and said no. Then I told him I was going to ho see Adreana and there was no crying just and ok and bye. Adreana was eating nicely at her table. I am glad I decided to stop by because every other mother was there in her class. I had felt pretty bad all day and completely forgot to talk to Jorge about the fall festival at Crossings that night. Unfortunately Adreana didn't forget and a little before 6 she came to me and asked "should we be putting on our costumes for the Fall Feshtival" I felt so awfull that I had forgotten and that I had not told her we were going that I called Jorge (who was getting food) and told him that as soon as he got home we were going. So we went to the Fall Festival and boy was it busy! But again the kids had fun.
Wednesday. Halloween. I felt worse than Tuesday! This time I had all the drainage stuck on my head. Still couldn't sleep that night but this time because I couldn't breathe. So I finished editing pictures - finally! We had a lazy day until swim class. And then we came home and made supper. Jorge stopped by the store for me so that I didn't have to go out again. We had a relaxed evening and Jorge took the kids trick or treating on our street. They loved it. We also took them to Ada and Luis's for our annual "let us show you how cute we look in our costumes" day. They don't celebrate Halloween so they let us show up only cause they love us! They had a plastic pumpkin full of treats and goodies for the kids and they could not believe their luck! I so wish I had had a camera with me. Their expressions were priceless!
And that takes us all the way to today! Thankfully it seems like things are getting back to be somewhat normal except for my health. But I finally decided to buy the netty potty and we shall see how that goes. More on that tomorrow!
