Yeah, I know it is a cute face... especially when covered in chocolate. He is simply adorable when he is smiling... and he most certainly has stolen my heart away. But don't be fooled! Just let me tell you about my Tuesday!
Well it started like any other day... I woke up, Adreana woke up and then Benjamin woke up and I did what I do in any other day. I changed a diaper, I put on some clothes and shoes and moved him to the floor so we could go get Adreana ready for Play school (Mother's Day Out). And then it happened. My beautiful smiling boy threw himself on the floor and proceded to cry.. more like scream. I did what any loving mother would do when confronted with this situation. I walked away. I called him from Adreana's room and he came. No more crying. Relief flooded me... until breakfast that is!
Again like any other day I sat him down to breakfast with a milk sippy and proceded to give him waffles, usually well received, for breakfast. And it happened again. My adorable little boy refused to take a seat and proceded to cry.. more like scream. Well after much trying he was still throwing himself of his seat and I was losing it so I went to call dad. Sadly for me it was all before 8:30 am but luckily for me it was on my free day (free from them that is!)
At 2:30 upon picking him up from play school and being amazed at hearing that he actually behaved, we set up for home. The afternoon is pretty much a blur. He cried because I gave him a sippy instead of a cup, because he fell, because he didn't fall, because I hugged him and because I didn't... you get the picture!
But that is not it... then he did it in public in our neighbors driveway! He threw a big tantrum (they were definitely getting bigger by now) because Jacob and Adreana took a piece of chalk out of the bucket that I guess he decided was only for him. The tantrums continued until it was time to come in but we had NO idea what he had in store for us at bath time... the mother of all tantrums...
It will save to say that I held him and Jorge washed and out of the bathtub with dad he went. Now Jorge took him to get dressed and I heard crying from the room. Benjamin not Jorge... Then it stopped. I guess dad took care of that. He spent the rest of the night cuddled with him and getting over the day! Man what a day... I am pretty glad it is over. I know he is close to being two. I know I should expect it but it took me by surprise. So like I said before don't be fooled, except if I need you to babysit him... than say yes and be surprised later!

El tren que esta en la oficina del Dr...
Pues yo le habia dicho que ibamos a tener que hacer algo especial por la ocasion si se portaba bien y le hacia caso al dr y se me salio que cuando yo era nina mi tia Tete siempre nos llevaba por una dona cuando saliamos del dentista que obviamente era Tio Jose. Asi que ella decidio que teniamos que continuar la tradicion y fuimos por una dona solo que a Krispy Kreme en vez de Dunkin Donuts... No creo que sea la tradicion mas saludable o la mejor para los dientes pero mientras pensaba lo mucho que me gustaba ir al dr con mis primos (iba a decir primas pero el pobre Nando siempre le toco estar rodeado de mujeres!) y saber que ibamos a probar una de esas donas que quedaba en la esquina opuesta decidi que aveces las tradiciones no tienen que ser buenas solo tienen que ser tradiciones... ahora ver donde le saco a Adreana y Benjamin primos por estos rumbos para que sea aun mejor... Lo unico es que yo no soy Tia Tete y no se si ir al dentista con 5 ninos me suena bien... bueno aun nos quedamos con la mejor parte las donas!!!
