Layout - Quilt Inspired

If I could sew, This is the quilt I would make for myself. When I saw the colors and patterns in the Country Style Mega Kit by DSP Designers I thought quilt so I made a simple pattern to make the quilt design.

The eagle picture is from our San Diego Zoo trip from last year. I used the saying from Wings of Hope Kit by Nicole Young and added another line of the verse. The picture is layered with one of the backgrounds and then layered with the linen overlay from Treat it - Antique Overlay Stack by Lauren Bavin

Adreana layouts

My attempt at artful journaling for my daughter:
The older you get the*more we seem to have to
really parent. Your questions and problems
seem more real. Friends and worries are
things we can’t ignore. And as we work hard to
bring you up the best we can, I hope you can
always see we love you.

The beautiful scrolls and papers in this kit just made it so easy to create this layout.

When I saw Another Rainy Day Value Collection by Carole Harden I thought of these pictures from a long time ago. It is amazing how after so many years I can still hear her laugh.

Out for publication!

One of the requirements of DET (the DSP creative team) is to submit layouts to publications and who would know I have had 3 selected for publication!!! I got sick and missed the deadline for 1 but one has already been in a digital scrapping magazine and the other will be in it next month! It is so exciting to be picked and such an honor!

So if you see this on my blog or gallery now you know why!

My first one was this one... One I never even showed you!
